How does A Place to Call Home work?
Through AP you can rent furniture and everything you need for your home. AP delivers in a few working days and usually on the desired delivery date. You get the all-round carefree package. Our team will take care of all the assembly of your rental items.

CAN I TERMINATE EARLY?
We can pick up the furniture at any time! You won´t be stuck with the furniture when you no longer need it. After the contract period, which is determined individually by you, the contract can be terminated on a monthly basis.

HOW FAST CAN YOU DELIVER?
Normally we can deliver furniture within a week or two, after the contract is signed.
Once the furniture are delivered in your place, it takes 1-2 days to install them.

ARE FURNITURE NEW OR USED?
​Most of our products are in like-new condition or even brand-new, out of the box.
Used furniture are inspected for any damages and carefully cleaned before we install them.

Can I buy the furniture after the rental period?
Yes! If you fall in love with your rental furniture and want to keep them, just let us know. We’ll provide you with a purchase offer, so you can think about whether you want to buy the furniture from us or not.

What if I move to another address?
That’s no problem. Just inform us in advance and we’ll help you move the furniture to your new home. In this case we’ll figure out a custom solution.

Do you offer packages for companies or expats relocating to Denmark?
Yes, we specialize in helping expats and international professionals feel at home. We offer tailored packages for both individuals and companies. Contact us to hear more or read more about our furniture packages here.

CAN I EXTEND MY RENTAL PERIOD?
At any time. You do not have to do anything for it! Your contract will be automatically extended for another month if you do not cancel it.

WHAT STYLE ARE THE FURNITURE?
The style is a Nordic Style, with good quality and design in focus.
For each project we take the house/apartment in consideration to match the with the right furniture.

DO YOU DELIVER OUTSIDE COPENHAGEN?
We deliver all over Zeeland.
Delivery in Copenhagen and its suburbs is includes in the package price.
Delivery outside Copenhagen is possible on a seperate offer.

INSURANCE
Your furniture will be insured against wear and tear by us for the length of your lease.

What happens if something beaks?
If something gets damaged during your rental period, just contact us. Normal wear and tear is covered by our insurance. For larger damages we’ll evaluate the situation together.

Can I choose the furniture myself?
Yes, you can. We’ll always ask for your input and preference. Our interior team then puts together a package that fits your home, but we’re happy to adjust based on your wishes. You’ll be the one living in your home, so we will make sure it fits your preferences.
